I'm currently trying to make the Episodes page more accessible and removing all those dead 4kids videos.
Also, I'm thinking of redesigning sometime in the future. Any suggestions?

ReplyDeleteWell I think we need the archive. I use it all the time and now its gone so I can't find certain posts I really want to reread. But I think a chatbox is a good idea. I suggest a xat chatbox.

ReplyDeleteI think you should share ALL the posts on Facebook. I check Facebook all the time, and it's a quick way to get all the stuff. I know it's a lot of work, but it would really help me and I'm sure some other people, too.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I kind of have to oppose the chatbox idea. Every site I see that has a chatbox has issues, like people spamming, acting like someone else, or saying inappropriate things. All it does is create problems. But, if enough people want it, I guess it could be ok...
I agree about the chatbox. It has good parts and bad parts. It's on trial now, so I guess we'll see how it works out!

ReplyDeletePhoebe, the forum does have an anonynmous user function, if I remember correctly. Obviously, I am somewhat dubious about the chatbox. There are a lot of things that we can improve besides adding a chatbox, such as adding more music to the Music Page and the same thing for the episodes.

Chatbox #1 was a failure, because it was spammed pretty quick, but Chatbox #2 has more control :D
Anonymous: Who do you know whose fan creations haven't been put up yet? Unless it just got in yesterday, it should be up. If you know them, could you get them to resend?

I think u can make some quizzes n stuff n post it on the home or some other page. then well well write the answers n mail them to you n u can declare who won but there is a thing that more than one person can win. I think that even we could help u on making the quizzes thing.

ReplyDeleteI really don't like having music on webpages, it usually makes me want to close the page, especially if my music is up loud and I didn't realize xD Trust me, it'll scare your pants off.
Maybe you could make an images page, for PNGs and the like. Basically just any official images. And I know that's a LOT of work, considering there are LOTS of images out there, but you can just ask people to send in any images they've found. Let them do the work for you. ;)

Well, by clean up I mean just taking care of the things that you already have listed to do on the other pages before you start a new page. Although I'm sure you probably already knew to do that... Now I look stupid. :P

ReplyDeleteClean the Friend Sites page. Some of the links don't work and some of them are just boring sites that don't get updated.
ReplyDeleteAlso, about the You Know You Love Winx When... page, do you really need it? Is there any point to it when you already have a successful blog devoted to the Winx Club?
The images aren't links anymore, it's the URLs underneath. I have to take all the links out of the images now though... And it's not for sites with news and everything, that's what I use the Blogroll for on the News Page. It's sites where I know the author or we've exchanged banners and stuff like that.

If we did that, then maybe Sky could take the blue Music page and Brandon could take the Dolls/Merchandise? Wow, I just realized that that would put Bloom and Sky both on blue and Stella and Brandon on yellow... O.o

U know u could make sub-coloumns like Winx adventure and avatar updates, wallpapers, events and announcements.

Its kinda keeps the theme going cause you've got Kiko, Bloom's pet, Sky, Bloom's boyfriend, and now Lockette, Bloom's pixie! (and please no one respond to this and start an argument that Bloom always gets the spotlight, bla bla bla...)

ReplyDeleteWell, for one I don't think I'll have that many pages! xD And the pixies came in the second season, so if people don't know the pixies because they haven't see that season, then would they not know Layla? I think the more likely thing is people not knowing Roxy or the pets from the fourth season, since it hasn't aired everywhere yet. But still, good points!
